By Road

From the M1, leave at junction 42 onto the M62. Join the M606 and follow signs for Skipton. From the M6, leave at junction 29 onto the M65 and follow signs for Skipton. Broughton Sanctuary is located 2 miles to the west of Skipton on the A59.

Directions for the Estate Office: From the A59 take the main entrance into the Broughton Hall Estate. Cross the bridge and follow the road through the main gates straight ahead of you. With Broughton Hall directly ahead, drive down the hill and bear right ignoring the gates into the Hall. Go through the gateway, following the road round to the left in front of the arch. The road then bends round to the right and up the hill. At the top of the hill you’ll see a large car park to your left, the Estate Office is just to the right, situated in the long building by the wooden gazebo.

By Rail

The nearest train station is Skipton, Broughton Road, Skipton BD23 1RT (there will be taxis at the station and it is only a 10 minute drive to Broughton Hall). Trains from London Kings Cross are only 3 hours (single change at Leeds).

By Air

Manchester Airport is 55 miles away.
Leeds Bradford Airport is 24 miles away.

The Estate is 42 miles from Manchester.
