Fire temple experience
Enjoy the healing effect of wild swimming in the great outdoors. Connect with nature, nourish creativity, and garner spiritual inspiration.

Folk herbalist woodland walks
Join our resident Folk Herbalist Gemma Tetley for a mindful walk around Broughton Sanctuary’s wild spaces. Have thoughtful discussions around foraging seasonal wild food throughout as you walk through meadows and woodlands, learning to identify edible plants, medicinal herbs, and discovering some of our wonderful fungi.

Woodland dining
Enjoy a magnificent experience in our Garden of Cosmic Origin as you dine amongst the trees in a private, candlelit glade. With a roaring fire to keep you warm, a repurposed shelter to provide weather protection and a treetop canopy this is truly an awe inspiring setting to gather.

Catered picnic experiences
Head out with a map and a nutritious picnic hamper created by one our in-house chefs. Explore the heather moorland, rolling meadow pastures, ancient and newly planted woodland and the meandering rivers of our 2,500 acre Sanctuary.
Outside spaces

Hermit hut
Tucked away in its own little oasis on the edge of a wild swimming reservoir, the hermit hut is a place to unwind and reconnect. Enjoy picnics and toasted marshmallows by the open camp fire.

Moon bathing
Wrap up warm, grab a torch and head out on a journey to our moor top Moon Baths for a guided moon meditation as you reconnect with life’s natural cycles and attune yourself to the Earths circadian rhythms.

Bronze Age circle
We have uncovered a Bronze Age Cairn Circle, situated on the moor top. Connect with our ancestors, and enjoy a moment of quiet solitude.

Labyrinth
Walking the labyrinth can be a source of solace and can quiet a distracted or overactive mind. Enjoy a guided experience with one of our in-house Therapists.
